Hi All -
I am sure that I am over thinking and probably speeding more time than most, but my FFR MK1 has the traditional 427 Powered badges. I have a 1972, 302 in my car. I know that there are a lot of 5.0 Coyotes running around. I am working on a brushed Aluminum Film printed with the Ford "302" graphic. There is a minimum that I have to get for the 2 I want, regardless.
Is this appealing to anyone else and interested? If so, let me know. The cost would be cost of the minimum plus envelope and postage. I should know more after getting the quote to know what the quantity would be with the minimum.
Thanks for entertaining my OCD and let me know if you are interested....
Mark

Nope, not at all. Silly thing to worry about, but if you want one, OK.

If you’re going to dismiss something that’s meaningful to someone as ‘silly’, how about abstaining from a snide and pointless comment? I really enjoy the FFR community and acceptance of everyone building what we want, how we want. Of course somebody is going like something you don’t. No need for dismissive comments.
I’ve thought of badging mine with a 302 in some way, but not sure yet. Neat concept and thanks for throwing it out there, Mark.

He ASKED the question if anyone was interested, it was his OCD, his words not mine, so I was not dismissive . I gave an answer, you don't have to like it if I'm NOT interested. I didn't ask YOUR opinion so maybe you should stop being rude??

Ah. I think I misunderstood. Sounds like your 'nope, not at all' comment was directed at his OCD comment not your lack of interest in the badging idea? If so, my mistake. I took it as a pointed attempt for you to tell him how not interested you were in his idea which you then followed up with stating how silly it was. I interpreted what you said as you going out of your way to be rude and dismissive to his idea. If that wasn't the case, I apologize for misunderstanding...although looking back I don't think that what you meant was super clear. Sometimes these things get lost in translation on the interwebs. No worries.
Also, to be fair, of the two of us I'm never rude or abrasive to anyone on the forum. Ever. I haven't been around this forum very long, but long enough to know you're not one for making much of an effort to spare anyone's feelings. I just thought this was another one of those many moments and it looks like I made a mistake. I can own up to that and apologize for misunderstanding you.
Mark, do you have a mock up of the badge design or a picture of the badge you're referring to?

Having them custom made is fine. However, there is a shortcut if you find one you like. There are many available on amazon and other places, just search for "302 emblem".

Yeah, not found any I like. Unless original, they do not use the correct font....
