I am catching up on my research from 2017 when I cancelled my complete kit. I’m still undecided of a 427 or coyote, but for sure doing IRS. I originally was going to order ALOT from Breeze, but curious what some people are doing these days. I know that’s a loaded question but the more I read the better. I know I want power steering and all the extras for a better ride and also movable seat frames since I’m 6’3”. I LOVE the extra ideas and part of me thinks the more the better yet also less is more. Lol. I also know I want the cubby for extra holding space and think I want the battery in the engine compartment. Seems breeze has a lot of radiator extras that are still popular and common for people upgrading. Thank you in advance. Links of options would be EVEN better. Seems to me not long ago Edward b had a great list but I can’t find it. lol.

Spend some time on Breeze's website. Its all there, and yes, its worth it. I bought nearly everything Mark offers for my MkIV.

Yep, Breeze has quite a bit to offer in terms of upgrades. Battery relocation, radiator hinge kit, graded seat frames, cubby, power steering setup, quick release steering, radiator cowls, and the list goes on. Michael Everson also has some cool stuff like the nose aluminum, seat belt bezels, quick jack plates, windshield trim plates, under dash panel. Snakebite Motorworks has a bunch of cool stuff, especially for the Mark V. Martin Lira has a cool tow bar and skid plate. FF Metal has thicker firewalls and tunnel covers. 520 Speedworks has unique things like pre-cut lexan windshields, boltless rollbar setup and e brake kit. I think Herb is still doing custom door panels and Frank at i.e.427 also has some nice stuff like a drop trunk box and turn signal assembly.
LOTS to spend your money on. :D

FYI, I've had no luck getting ahold of Herb for door panels. I've sent emails and left voice mails. No reply. So, I just made my own.
If you want to take a look at my first build thread post it details most of the upgrades I put on my car. Some of them I wasn't planning on until I got to that stage of the build and wanted a better solution than what came with the kit. A lot were from Breeze and I'm glad I did every one of them, although one item I might rethink is the Breeze seat brackets. I like the way it reclines the seat, but I'm 6' tall and you may want to go another route. With the seat declined as much as it is the base has to move forward a bit. It's fine for me, but if you're 6'3" with long legs it may not be enough leg room for you. And they say they're adjustable, but no way in heck you are adjusting them in less than 20 minutes as the nuts are almost impossible to access with the stock low back seats. Just FYI.

Many of your questions and the need/desire for "upgrades" will depend on whether you choose to build a Mk4 or a Mk5.

Being 6'3" I'd strongly suggest you go MkV.

x3 on the Mk5. It's like FF reads these upgrade lists too. :o Bunch of stuff incorporated into the Mk5 that we used to add. Battery relocation, trunk box, turn signal, radiator mounting, top mounted e-brake handle, shroud in the nose, trunk lid struts, LED lights including headlights, improved door latches, lowered roll bar, probably more. Couple of these in late Mk4's. Not to mention the dramatically improved body. Don't get too far into upgrades before you deep dive into the Mk5. Maybe even have it on hand first. I'm about two weeks into my build and keep finding things.

If you do go the MkIV route, just a note on the seat sliders. I’m not as tall as you, at 6’00”, but still tall for these cars.
The FFR slider kit actually results in a loss of legroom if installed per their instructions. I resolved this with 4 offset plates I fabbed out of 3/8” aluminum plate, which I drilled and tapped to accommodate the style of installation FFR instructs on. With this method, I was able to get the seat to the back of the cockpit. I’m not sure whether the Breeze sliders already accomplish this—but I got my sliders on the for sale section here for cheap, so I was willing to figure it out.
Coyote for the win, BTW. Modern modular tech blows the old pushrods out of the water. Unless you’re going for authenticity, that’s the way. If you’re wanting a reman gen 2 or 3, call Promar Engines and ask for Kevin; he’s a good guy and now familiar with what we need since I went through it with him—don’t waste your time with Frazier, they will treat you like an idiot when you tell them you’re building a car and can’t give them a VIN for your mustang. Just trust me on that one. Also, if you go Coyote, Jim Smart has published a couple of very helpful books recently—I’d advise any Coyote builder to get them.
Good luck on making your selection, and enjoy the build!

My brother, who is 6'4" with size 15 feet, does not fit in my MK-IV.
Take the advice from Craig and others on going with the MK-V.

I have size 11 shoe and it can be a bit snug if I wear my normal tennis shoes. It works, but is tight. Wearing barefoot shoes during summer gives me no problems at all! But if you're larger than a size 10 you probably need specific shoes to avoid having problems with the Mk IV footbox...or you can modify the footbox to accomodate. MkV solves all those problems, I hear.
