Two-part Question:

Who do I approach about selling items on this site? I'd like to become a sponsor on this forum for the Southern Ontario members as I used to own a performance shop (looking to get another),
and still have access to performance parts suppliers.

Part two:

I'm in the process of building an electronic circuit which will act as security disable for the engine/starter essentials. Before I complete the design, I'd like to get input from the members
about features, concerns, options, etc.

Would I be allowed to post details about this circuit without running into any trouble from the moderators?

PM either David Hodgkins or Mad Dog and they can set you up. You can find them by clicking 'quick links' at the top of the page and then 'site leaders'

As for your electronic circuit.....I assume you're asking because it's something that you want to offer for sale later on? I guess as long as you're just asking advice on how the circuit needs to operate and such, I see no reason that info could not be posted?

Hi Tino,

We'd love to have you as a supporting vendor on the forum. Here's the link with all the info about signing up. (http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?541-Advertisers-and-Supporting-Vendors-Information) Basically, I just need to know which advertising package you'd like to go with, the banner art in the appropriate format, and then we'll get it up on the site. You can e-mail me too at dave.lindsey@factoryfive.com if you have any questions. Let me know what I can do to help.

Tino,

If you want to start a thread or poll the members to see if they are interested in a potential product, go for it. As long as you don't actually offer the product for sale you will be fine.

:)

Thanks David.

The more I plan this out, the more I realize that there are several alarm systems out there with many of the same features, however this design would incorporate a keypad as opposed to a push-button
keypad to activate and deactivate. We'll see if that is something FF owners prefer.
