Hi all. Hoping someone can confirm this for me.
There are two power feeds into the headlight switch. The first (RED-HDLT SW 1 FEED) powers the headlights and the second (RED-HDLT SW 2 FEED) powers the dash lights and park lights.
My problem is that it according to the schematic in the RF manual, only RED-HDLT SW 2 FEED is protected with a fuse. Whereas RED-HDLT SW 1 FEED receives power from the battery terminal on the ignition switch which is connected directly to the battery by way of the starter solenoid.
Does anyone who is past this point know if there is a fuse that they can pull that shuts off both lowbeam and highbeam headlights? Wondering if I should splice a fuse in to this power feed.
Below is the schematic from the RF book
Thanks
