Hey guys, just like the title says. I was installing a radiator screen leaning over the nose of the car and didn’t realize I was pressing my knee into the passenger side headlight. The upper adjustment screw caved in (it’s fine thread into soft plastic) now it’s loose.

I can use silicon or smoother filler but would prefer just to put a new one in if I can. Anyone know if a PN? I’m reaching out to FFR but I suspect they are part of a kit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just a thought, get a slightly oversized screw and re-thread.

I stripped the threads in my passenger bucket doing something similar. I solved it by putting two nuts on the adjustment screw, between the headlight housing and the bucket, so the nuts sit against the bucket. Tighten them up against the bucket once your headlight is aligned, and you should be good. Mine has been fine for 500 miles.

I'd be tempted to mix up some JB and fill the hole then after it sets drill and tap. Pretty sure the adjuster screws are standardized 1/4-28.

These are all excellent ideas.

I believe I have one. I can put in the mail this weekend if that works.
