MK3 Batter relocation help

Hey fellow forum members. I could use a little help if you don't mind. I am thinking the best place the locate or relocate the battery is on the PS in front of the round cross tube in the engine bay. This area seems small, but should work...? Does anyone have pictures of this mocked up or detailed pictures to help me out. A parts list or links to parts (battery tray, mounts, etc) would also be greatly appreciated.

Most builders use the Breeze Automotive tray.

I relocated mine to that very spot. While Mark’s setup is very nice, I opted to fabricate my own out of aluminum stock and sheet. I also got a smaller battery. 216073216072216071

If you use the Breeze tray, your front brake line will need to be relocated.

+1 on the Breeze tray and the brake line relocation. you can likely just get a new line and secure it to the front of the X member.
