I thought I'd share some "graduation" photos and info on my 65-R build. I really enjoyed (most!) of the process and learned a ton along the way.
My timeline looked something like this:
- December, 2018 - Attended the FFR Build School
- August, 2019 - Kit Ordered
- October, 2019 - Kit Delivered
- 2020 - 2024 - Magic
- 2025 - Safety Inspection...waiting...VIN assigned...waiting...VIN installed...waiting...DMV registration complete...Track Day!
It's got the 427 Windsor engine/trans package from Blueprint, AP Racing air jacks, air conditioning (Restomod vents), Wildwood brakes + electronic parking, Fuel Safe fuel cell, Momo Catania wheels, Cartek wireless controls, custom Speedhut gauges, Momo steering wheel, OMP quick release wheel hub and a fire suppression system. I also added the FFR rear wing and front aero components (setup to be quickly removable so I can run in either configuration).
The chassis was done in US Bronze, sheet metal in Evo Grey and the paint is Adventurine Green with black stripes.
3R Performance in Denver did the bodywork...and there was a LOT of it required :-/
There is a video montage of the build on YouTube: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDNdEQCzEqc](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDNdEQCzEqc)
My next project will be learning how to drive this beast and maybe a diet so I fit a little better....
I hope you all have a Happy 4th of July!
