The wire supplied in the RF harness seems to be a #10 or at best #8. I was thinking a #4 or #2 with a in-line 150a breaker or fuse. Seems odd FFR would supply a #4 battery cable and such a lighter gauge for the charging cable?

What route did you guys take? Should a in-line breaker be used? Thanks for your help.

I used 4 gauge for my 1 wire alternator. No issues at all. And yes, absolutely have a 150A inline breaker or mega fuse with a 1 wire alternator.

Thank you for your reply. Looks like I’ll be doing the same. Did you trace back the alternator wire that was in the harness and remove it? I’m interested where it ends up. Thanks again for your input.
