I’ll be in Michigan this weekend for the 4th and wanted to invite any Factory Five owners to bring their cars to a great car show in Muskegon at Muskegon Brewing Company. I won’t have a car in the show, but I’m planning on attending. The event is being hosted by a family friend, and I thought it would be fun to invite any Factory Five folks in the area.

Anyone who brings their FFR car will get a free t-shirt. Just take a picture of your car at the show and email it to my daughter at Nicole@factoryfive.com – be sure to specify your shirt size. The show starts at 6 PM.

Background:
Some of you may know that my family comes from Whitehall, Michigan, a small town just north of Muskegon. My parents were raised there, and my wife grew up there. We have a summer cottage on the original property that was a homestead in the late 1800s, owned by my great-grandfather.

Hope to see you Friday night!

The only thing better than fireworks on the 4th is fireworks with some cool Factory Fives around.. and that's what I found last Friday night at the Adelaide Point car show in Muskegon Michigan!

I was in the area working on my summer cottage just north of Muskegon when I found out about the car show a week earlier. A handful of Factory Five guys showed up and a few cars made the night really fun.

I noticed Jim Sheren's Gen 2 supercharged small block Ford powered Daytona Coupe as I walked in. His car is loaded with cool custom work, tons of CNC parts that he made himself, and his own custom power side windows!

The Coupe really has a presence that outshines nearby cars.

Jim's Coupe was parked next to Mark M.'s Blue Mk2 Roadster FFR3001K. Marks car goes way back to 2001 and is powered by a Ford 302. He came to the show with his wife Kari, daughter Lily Rose, and son Alex.

How do you make a McLaren disappear? Park it next to a Factory Five!

I also spoke to FFR owners John and Etra Bostrom, who bought their car partially built from a customer in Texas and are building it at their place only a few miles away.

It was a super nice evening with good food and drinks, fireworks, and some really epic cars! Nicole at FFR is sending t-shirts and some cool merch to the FFR customers who were there. Sound like the show is planning on next year and inviting more Factory Five cars!

I'm a sucker for old Firebirds. I believe this was a 79, but it had a 455 dropped in.

Back at the cottage we watched a cool airshow that wasn't on anyone's calendar!
