Used the LCS as an excuse for a road trip with the (2) kids. We're in the the "want to do a project together" phase of research (including budgeting).
Just want to say it's inspiring and motivating to see all of those cars, the little touches so many included. Talked with a few owners and everyone was super nice and inviting.
Show seemed to be really well run in the 3 hour window we were there Saturday.
And though the heat was a bit of a beast for my Minnesota biology (and we were back on the road in AC by 12:30PM - I'm sure it was worse later), we all really enjoyed it, including my 15 year old who's not super into cars/motorsports/mechanical things.
Thanks to all who went and showed their cars and to those giving rides - all 3 of us did a ride and all were fun and the drivers all super nice.
