My MK4 has two toggles in the dash...the black paddle type (poor picture attached). One is for the washer, the other is for the blinkers. I want to replace the blinker toggle with a momentary switch (because I ALWAYS forget to cancel the blinker after I turn) that matches the wiper toggle, but if I can't I'll just replace both with a matching style.
Looking for quality switches. Any hints as to where I can find (a) a black matching momentary toggle or (b) two matching toggles (one momentary and one not).
The blinker toggle is the on-off-on momentary one I need...the wiper is an on-off-on switch that could be replaced with an on-off switch has it currently only works in one position anyway.
I may eventually incorporate a turn signal module but that's only if a replacement switch doesn't scratch my itch.

Amazon is your friend.

Not helpful...I tried Amazon and google in general, could not find a toggle that matched the style of the existing pair. As for going with different style, I found many online but I'm looking for quality, not your standard Chinese-made cheap-*** parts, hence my request for suggestions.
PS: I grew up just down the road from you in Lawrence. My cousin Marvin Pine worked in your school district forever.

FWIW, the paddle handles will come off the FFR switches. Just pull on them. Now you just need to find a switch with a similar post.
good luck,
Speedway Motors carries a lot of hot rodding items. Cannot speak for the quality of their switches.

These are really nice switches, but not paddle.

They do have other ones that are paddle, but I don't have experience with the paddle switch version.

If you use a momentary switch for your turn signals consider adding the Lights Controller module from Microflex Labs (https://microflexlabs.com/). It can detect when you complete a turn and cancel the blinkers without any mechanical connection to the steering shaft.

Try Ron Francis. I have nothing but his toggle switches in my car - rated at 30 amps. Pricey vs. some Lucas stuff - but nice looking high quality switches with heavy ratings.

Make that 35 amps - called Synergy Series. Nice looking toggles. Something you will see all the time in the car.

Newark Electronics, Digi-Key, Allied Electronics. These places have all kinds of switches. Maybe too many.

First I have to get the blinkers/flasher working again (something must have come loose this weekend and I lost both). Then I install a momentary blinker switch. I think that will fix my issue (once I start the turn the blinkers are no longer required so I can release the switch to shift). But that type of solution does intrigue me...

Thanks, I found a workable but expensive option...but at least I know there's a solution.
