Congratulations! Love the "gentlemans" cobra look. Can you provide some details of how you ran the rear exhaust?

He came and looked at mine for inspiration, but his came out a much more elegantly. The photos don't show how gorgeous his car is. Here's some photos of mine that may help.

That is a beautiful car. That is kind of the look I am going for.

When I first joined the Factory Five community 2005 my handle was CN Green. This car is exactly what I had in my mind. I love the no roll bar look with the undercover exhaust, topped by that beautiful dark green single stage paint.

Of course, my boss lady vetoed that color choice! That’s a truly beautiful car and more than worthy of POM.!

Congratulations! Very nice car!

Went a similar direction with my car. Now I just have to get it through New Jersey's registration process...

Thanks for all of the pics John. Your car looks great and it looks like you are enjoying it. Have you had any clearance issues with the exhaust hanging below the frame? Shame FFR didn't incorporate a rer exhaust option with the design of the new Mark V frame.

Dave, please keep us posted on the NJ registration process. As I'm planning my build, NJ registration is one of my major concerns. Would love to see some pics of your car .

Over 25,000 miles in and no real problems. I'm super cautious at speed bumps, and I've rubbed a few times, but no real damage.

John,
Good to hear that you've had no significant issues. What muffler did you use and how is the sound level? I want mine to still sound like a cobra but I'm looking for something a little more mellow than the typical side pipe sound level.

I used SpinTech 7000 “cruiser” series mufflers, 2 1/4 in and out to match the 2 1/4 pipes I used.

Here’s an older video after I installed the FiTech, but it gives you an idea.

That's the sound that i'm looking for. Definitely gonna plan on going with rear exhaust on my MKV build when i place order. Thanks for answering all of my questions and providing resource information.
