OK, I have wired in the tail light adapter per the instructions, I think. Front lights are all working. The right rear brake light comes on when the brake is pressed but the running, turn and left rear brake are not. I have attached pics of my connectors coming into and out of the adapter and one tail light. I did switch the tail lights and the right rear brake works as before. So its not the light. One other note is I have the white ground wires from both sides of the adapter wired directly to a chassis ground behind the dash. I should add that the license plate light is not coming on either. Any thoughts?215189215188215187[ATTACH=CONFIG]215190

Don't know if this helps, but this is how mine are wired.

Thanks gbranham. You have a note to not forget to swap out the flashers. I installed the flashers that came with the F5 kit. They have a separate ground wire. Are these correct? Mine is wired the same as yours except for the tail lights. I will check this out.

Yep, you got it. The fuse panel ships with flashers for standard bulbs. The kit comes with LED flashers that go in the fuse panel, where the standard bulb flashers lived. The LED flashers have their own ground wire. I grounded them to the 3/4" tube that the fuse panel mounts to.

In pic #4 it appears the the wires red/purple are swapped from one side of the connector.

I wanted to get back and report that the problem was the Hopkins Converter. Thanks to ie427 who mentioned on one of his videos that he has seen a few of these be bad out of the box. BTW Travis at F5 says they never have problems with these.

I had the same problem. Replacing it with a different brand (can't remember which one) fixed it.

Funny how that works, huh? Yet we have 3 people in just this one thread that have had problems with them. The one you want is made by Tekonsha https://www.tekonsha.com/product/119130_taillight-converter
