I have been working with Bill (Tango) since April to take several ideas that he had for improving the trunk area of his new MK5. He wanted to make a front drop trunk that is accessible while sitting in the front seats, another drop trunk next to the Factory Five one on the drivers side, a storage pocket in the back wall of the Factory Five drop trunk, and an access panel over the fuel pump area of the gas tank. He has his regulator and fuel filter by the fuel pump, so he wanted to have easy access to that area. These are all photos from the initial fit up. He has been working on powder coating them and doing the final assembly. These parts are now available for sale.

You did a great job taking my ideas and bringing them to life. I will be posting install pictures very soon. These additions turn wasted space into functional storage. Your knowledge in product design and fancy latches/hinges took it to the next level and I am super pleased. I hope other builders enjoy the added storage. THANK YOU. For all the new MK5 owners, the FFR supplied access panel covers (for the fuel sending unit and Fuel pump for example) did not fit/cover the hole and I needed to find a new solution. Snakebite to the rescue. Also check out the mods they offer for the front of the car around the transmission tunnel area.
