I have the Allstar version of the driveshaft safety loop. Can I get some of you to post a pic of how you installed this? Seems pretty simple, but if I'm not mistaken that's what Custer thought.

Jim, I am using a generic Jegs safety loop that I assume is much like the Allstar version. Sorry, I don't have any pics handy but I simply welded two brackets I made out of 3/16 x 2 flat bar to the 4" frame rails. The safety loop bolts just bolts to the brackets...

I used a Metco loop that comes with a bracket that mounts off rear tranny mount. See pic.

+1 on the Metco unit. Long studs were replaced with bolts from the kit once unit was in place.

+2 on the Metco loop. I had to shorten the length of mine a little but nice piece.

Forgive me if I'm speaking out of turn, but I believe Jim is looking for help installing the Allstar driveshaft safety loop he has on hand, as opposed to deciding which loop to install.

Agree. Its just many of us believe he would be better served with the Metco unit as its custom made for our cars.

How can we help, when none of us have used the Allstar? He's building a car, something different he'll have to sort it out?

Sorry, I too can't help with install other than I started with an Allstar loop and after quite a bit of work and how it just didn't work that well I went and bought a Metco loop. Easy install and fits like a glove. Not there yet but going with a Metco on my second build.
