Coyote 5.0 fuel pump doesn’t turn on all the time

Turn the key few times starts right up, never has stalled while running. I cleaned the ground wire and checked the connector which had 1-2 drop of gasoline in it. Tank and is full. Never experienced this however new to this.

What generation Coyote? Starting with Gen 2, the Ford Performance control pack calibration only runs the pump very briefly when the key is first turned on. It's easy to miss. Then doesn't turn it on again until the engine is running.

I have a Gen 2 and mine is the same as Paul describes. Short pulse at start then it only runs when the engine is on. I think your engine is normal.

Same - Gen2 on mine, and the fuel pump will only run for about 1-2 seconds when key turned to ON then shuts off. Then once cranking it will turn on again and stay on.
