Has anyone installed the FFR accelerator pedal assembly yet? I have looked at the assembly manual many times and nothing seems to match reality. The manual pictures on pages 204-211 do not match my car. They show holes in bracket that do not exist and the last mounting on page 211 does not approach the previous photos.
This should not be that complicated, but I am a little at a loss. Are the photos from the MK4 or the Coupe manuals?
I think Eric Treves did not use the FFR supplied assembly, and mine will be a carb system.
The Breeze and Russ Thompson pedals do not fit the Mk5, so what are the options?
Or, do we just wing it mount away?
Thanks, Ralph

I think it mounts like the coupe, but not totally certain. The manual looks like the photos are from the coupe. You could use the one from Forte. I know Bill (Tango) mounted his Coyote pedal, but later realized not to follow the manual.

As mentioned the pictures / bracket(s) did not match up for me, and the (2024+) coyote pedal did go in rather seamlessly without the bracket. I just made my wilwood look alike gas pedal this evening. All I can offer regarding the FFR gas pedal is that I think it is going to make a decent dead pedal on that diagonal frame bar on the outside of the foot box.

All you Coyote guys have it made. I can use the FFR pedal as a dead pedal like you suggested, buy my carb may be confused.

FFR Accelerator Pedal Location Hole does not exist on our frame as per MK5 Manual Rev M P204 - Requested location dimensions from FFR.

I used one of the factory holes and the drilled another just to the left of another factory hole for the bottom bolt on the pedal to tilt it the way I wanted. I think it is going to work but will adjust if need be when the engine gets here. Will probably need to bend the lower bar some to move foot pad to the right a little. Guess you already figured out that the manual is pretty poorly put together for the Mk5. Photos are attached I hope!214759214760

It looks the same as my Gen 3 Coupe, and the pictures in the post above show it very well. It is tight between the aluminum and the steering shaft and you will need to drill holes for it. You can also take the pedal assembly apart and put the upper arm on the other side if that helps it fit better. My Gen 3 coupe #16 from March 2017 so there might be some changes on the newer frames
