Hello everyone,
I was hoping to drive my Mk4 down to the 30th Anniversary Open House this weekend, but as the weather doesn't look dry, and its a 2-1/2 hour drive, I sadly probably won't make it (no roof, no wipers...). This got me to thinking, are there any groups that gather up my way in southern Maine or New Hampshire? I've done some online searches and haven't found anything as of yet.

Thanks

God willing, I'll be on the road before the summer ends. If you do anything early fall / late summer I'd be interested for sure.

I haven't come across any groups in Maine, but I haven't ventured out to any shows. I know there are few FFR owners around Portland.

New England Cobra's on Facebook would be a good place to start. I think there's around 30 of us on there. Mostly Mass but some NH. We do some cruises and meet up occasionally for Breakfast and stuff. John42 on here is a member and a very active driver. We have driven to LCS a couple of times and are doing a Lake George meet up this year in July with the NY people. I will be at the Open House rain or shine if you happen to be there track me down and we can chat.

Yep! I'm always up for a drive! This Spring even more so. I'm in S. New Hampshire (Hollis). I will be at Lake George and sadly that will be my last hooray of the year and likely for the next 4 years. I depart on July 17th as I'm being temporarily transferred out of the country for work, for a 4-5 year duration. I do get to return once a year and I hope to plan that around the Lake George trips. That's my hope anyway.

Thanks for the information. I'll check out the New England Cobra page on FB.
I'm still keeping a close eye on the weather for this weekend. I'm hoping it breaks just enough to make to the 30th open house.

I'm going either way. If good weather in the Cobra, if not just the daily driver... Well lately the daily driver is the Cobra, so the other car. :-)

Glad you made it down to the open house Aaron and for taking the time to talk about your car (I talked to you with my 11yo just before the awards started).

Congrats on your two awards, well deserved!

Great meeting you today Aaron. Very cool to see you and your build in person. Although I went for a more traditional style with my build I equate watching your video series like me watching Orange County Choppers for years never owning a bike but in awe of their fabrication skills. Congratulations on your awards today, well deserved!
