any one have a picture of how the side pipe brackets attach on an MK1? Mine look completely different than any I have seen.

Are they the 3/4 tube with a 3/8 bolt welded to it? If so FFR supplied an oval rubber hanger that slipped over the bolt then was bolted to the frame under the car.

yes! THey seem to hang too low. Any clue where I can get a new rubber piece? I could use a band clamp I guess

Any parts store carries them They are oval shaped about 3 inches long with two holes.

I would recommend a hose clamp around the new hanger. the rubber still insulates vibration and allows for some flex but the hanger wony stretch.

I cant seem to get the nut off the bolt that comes off the frame? I get a socket on it, but it just spins. Anyone have a clue? I need to change the rubber!
