Curious for feedback from those of you who have used these. Did you use a press or a bolt together arrangement? I am assuming the press is easier to use, especially with larger dies but with soft aluminum a bolt up arrangement is probably adequate. Thanks in advance.

I used a bolt with the usual tools for the 1-1/2" dimple die I purchased for my pontoon covers. Pictured in another thread. For the 0.41 aluminum, pulled pretty easily. I don't own a press... :(

Thanks Paul. Good to know you can pull those with a bolt. I don't have a press either but always looking for an excuse to buy a new tool...

Eastwood makes good bolt style dies. Worked great.

I got a set for a press from Eastwood on sale a while back since I have an el-cheapo press from HoBo. I needed to use it for 14Ga steel, so that was the basis for my decision 214499
Now that I have it, I can easily use on thinner Al sheet...

Thanks. Looks like you are putting it to good use!
