Any chance you're in the StL area this summer, we've got a day cruise coming up 5/31, check to club website. We'd like to meet you!

We have another commitment on the 31st. Also, I'm still fighting with an intermittent, random stall issue and just don't feel confident getting on the highway or in a lot of traffic until I resolve the issue. I'm looking forward to meeting those that can make it out to my place in August, though.

Dave, I think your ECU is in the engine bay. If that is the case, a buddy of mine strongly cautioned me against having it in the engine bay and anywhere closed to the MSD kit. Something about crazy electrical interference. No idea if that is the case, but perhaps something to consider…

Yep - the ECU is close to the ignition and coil, and it could be some sort of RFI issue. If I could capture a log when it happens, it would likely show if the problem were in the EFI sensor and other electrical components. For reference, this issue existed before the stacks were installed when I was still using the Sniper EFI.

That is unfortunate. Have you considered a faraday cage of some sort as a test? This thread here…

Did you try the 'latching relay' diagnostic test I drew up a while back?

What I've tried so far:
1. Removed, cleaned, and reattached all grounds.
2. Added shims to positive battery terminal to ensure a solid connection.
3. Wired the power to the MSD ignition directly to battery power via a fused switch.
Whatever is causing the stalls is not preventing the car from immediately restarting and in some cases, all it takes is dumping the clutch if it happens when the car is moving fast enough. In these cases, I don't even need to cycle power with the key.
