I was just perusing the FFR site and they have a picture of an aluminum-bodied FFR in their facility. What's up with that?

Nope, it is an aluminum bodies FFR. There are two floating around I believe. Neither 100% factory built.

A science experiment of sorts from about 10 years ago. I believe one (didn't know that there was more than one but I don't doubt Bill's recollection of two) made it's way to the left coast, was completed and showed up at Knott's a couple of years ago. Another of those skunkworks projects was an aluminum chassis...

There is an FFR out here in SoCal that has a Kirkham body on it. Looks great, but the builder has confirmed it was a LOT of work!
