I'd be grateful for confirmation of the correct length for the flexible hoses for the rear brakes of a Gen3 Type 65 coupe. Also I need to know the angle of the banjo fitting. Unfortunately none were supplied with my kit and they weren't listed on the inventory either so I didn't spot they were missing when I reported shortages - i'm out of time now.

I asked here previously and was advised they are the same as the front hoses i.e. 20" so I spent $90 getting some made up, but I can't work out a good route that gives decent clearance round the control arms and drive shafts when the coupler fitting is positioned on the frame as shown in the build manual. Either I'm getting the routing wrong or 20" is too short. BTW I got 45 degree banjo fittings, but the range of mounting angles is quite restricted due to a small flange on the caliper casting.

Thanks for your help guys.

They are indeed the same as the front. My calipers are on the rear of the axle with IRS and the brake line mount is also behind the axle on the 1.5 inch tube that is angled down and toward the center of the car.

Thanks Mike for the quick reply. I have IRS also and likewise my calipers are to the rear of the axle. In the attached photo, are "A" and "B" on the 1.5" tube that you're referring to? There didn't seem to be any way to route the hose to "B" which is the point shown in the manual. Are yours higher up the tube like at "A"?214094

Ah - I think I may have misread your reply Mike - having read it again I see you said your brake line mount is behind the axle (makes sense!) - so perhaps this is the 1.5" tube you mean and your coupler is somewhere around "C"? If that's right, did you run your hard lines under the struts that support the rear deck? 214131

Mine are in the C location. I then ran a line to the center of the car just under floor height with a T in the center. Line goes forward from the T and the other side of the T goes to the other rear brake

Thanks Mike - makes perfect sense now that I've checked over the hard line routing you've suggested. :)
