I am one of those that have enjoyed the Pines To Palms cruises Frank Messina has organized over the past few years. I can understand Frank's desire to pass on some of the organizational duties and the need to meet other personal obligations. But he said all that needs to be done is pick a time, call the restaurant with a head count, and find a spot to meet. Sounds simple so I volunteered.
The deal is I plan to cruise to Palm Desert March 24th to have lunch with my Mom at the Elephant Bar. I plan to meet up with anyone else who wants to tag along at 9:00AM in Hemet.
Here are a few details:
Meet in the movie parking lot behind (south of) where McDonalds used to be at 2321 West Florida Ave.(Hwy 74) Here is the schedule:
09:00AM or earlier meet at Hemet
09:45AM depart
11:00AM Arrive at the Vista Point. Adjust clothes and smile for the camera.
11:20AM Head out to Palm Desert
11:45AM Arrive at the Elephant Bar
After lunch, you are on your own to find your way home.
