I went to mount my MK3 Stainless steel front nudge bar to the over riders and found the left and right "tabs" or "ears" are asymmetrical from left to right. Thinking this was a manufacturing flaw, I reached out to FF tech support via phone, and was told "they are supposed to be that way". I then sent pictures and measurements to them and the same tech support person replied that this is normal. Here is a pic of the entire hoop.

On the left side, the top "ear" is is 2-7/16 high, but the right top ear is just 1-7/8” high. On the bottom, the left bottom ear is 1-5/8 and the right bottom ear is 2-3/8. From looking at the installation instruction photos, it really looks like I have the hoop upside down in the picture. But this is the only way the over riders will follow the pitch of the "ears". So my question is, is they way your nudge bar was/is? I don't think my conscious will let me mount it this way. Before I cut the "tall" side down, drill a new hole, and polish the stainless I wanted to find out if this was normal. Thanks in advance for your feedback!
