Hey Folks,
My Dad & I received HR #179 that we took possession in January 2010. We actually purchased for my 82 yo dad and he vigorously started on it but unfortunately didn't get to finish it. We knew it would be his last build but so quick. His ticker gave out and the project got sidelined and put in storage at our business. Fortunately, our warehouse was climate controlled and it weathered real good, all things considered. Sold the business and the building and moved it to the house a couple years ago. I've been reading the board and getting caught up on all the good and the bad. I start on the last page and work forward, lol. Since, that's where a lot Gen 1 info is. I'll be hitting you folks up a lot, I'm sure. Be patient with this old man. It's been a decade since I turned a wrench but it's like riding a bike, I suppose. I've torn down everything he dd on the chassis and worked it back up, so now it begins.
It's old school, carburated 408W, TKO600, 8.8 rear and going no fenders or top. Like I said we had everything already to go, down to the wheels & tires.
