I need to pull the steering wheel and its hub off to adjust the turn signal canceling.
I’ve got the IDIDIT universal steering column and the FFR steering wheel.
There isn’t much room to get either of the 2 wheel pullers jaws I have behind the steering wheel and I don’t want to nick it up either.
If any of you have removed the wheel and hub what tool did you use?

I will look at my wheel today, but usually if you back the nut off ,pull on the wheel while tapping the nut with a dead blow hammer it will pop off,I always leave the nut on so you don’t hit yourself in the face with the wheel

Thanks, I did try that using a BFH, it didn’t budge.
Maybe have to try plan B. Remove the wheel, make a steel plate with a hole in the center and screw it to the hub. Then the jaws of the puller will have more to grip on and not slide off.

Plan B and the BFH worked. The 3/16 stainless even bent.
At that point I gave it a few good wacks and it popped off.
