I assembled this kit to learn how tune and diagnose a modern engine. The last time I built a motor from machine shop parts was 1976. There was one hose out of the carburetor. It was fun learning how to use the app on my laptop with the Picoscope. My 818S is done now. The kit contains the following items and the prices I paid when I assembled the kit. I will add photos if I can ever figure out how to make the attachment thing work. I have failed the intelligence test. I’m asking $ 300.00 for the
Kit. It’s on eBay too so you can see the pics there now
Picoscope 2000 2205A oscilloscope $ 249.00
Fluke 62 Max thermometer $ 136.00
Millennium 90 scanner $ 149.00
ODB pin out box $ 26.00
Craftsman NCV 82312 multimeter $ 55.00
Hantek CC 65 ac/dc current clamp. $ 76.00
Hantek CC 650 current clamp $ 94.00
Backprobe kit 20 piece $ 28.00
Metal case with custom foam $ 129.00

I forgot to mention that I have a bumpsteer gauge set, a tie in kit and a caster/camber kit on eBay as well. All helped me get the 828S almost perfect.

I hate auto correct! That should read toe in not tie in and it took me 4 years to build my 818. I should reread things before sending. I still can’t get the pics out of my phone. If interested, let me know your email and I’ll send the pics to you.

The buyer never paid, so this bargain is available again. I had a great time learning to use the Picoscope oscilloscope app.

Also, the bumpsteer gauge set and the toe in gauge set are both available on eBay as well. Both are at great discounts because I just want to pass. Them on to another builder. I thought that I would use them to set rough approximation just to get my 818 to the alignment shop. The were almost dead on.

I once again fail the intelligence test. I try over and over to select the pics from my photo library and get nothing.

Trust me, my diagnostic kit is worth much more than the $ 250.00 I’m asking for it. Go to eBay and search on automobile diagnostic kit to see the pics.

The bumpsteer kit, WRX intercooler and free Zero Decibel engine cover vents are still available too.
