By customer request, we have added a door pocket kit for the Factory Five Daytona Coupe. Two sets of parts are provided to trim out the raw fiber glass door holes for the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. There is a built in door pull and mount brackets to secure the door card, see images. The mounting brackets can also be used to mount the optional billet aluminum bezel, coming soon. The pocket is removable so that the door latch parts can be serviced and it mounts to the door frame for a rigid attachment.

They are made out of 5054 aluminum and come with all of the required mounting hardware.

Coming Soon (~4 weeks): Paint ready or polished 6061 Aluminum door pocket bezels, see images. Email us if you want to purchase the bezels and to be added to the first order: info@snakebitemotorworks.com

Nice. Look similar to the ones I made for my Coupe build. That extra space is welcome. The pull across the lower opening (also like mine) is handy and works great in the real world. I finished the insides with the same material as the door cards and put a piece of carpet in the bottom so you couldn't hear things rattling around in there. My only caution is don't make the opening too small. I built the opening into the door cards on mine (rolled the edges) and it's just big enough to get a small water bottle into.

Thanks for the insights! I had lots of people request these and they had referenced yours. I ended up cutting out all of the pocket between the top and bottom frame rails to give as much space as possible and also to make it a rigid attachment point. The recessed fiber glass flange was so inconsistent on mine, in terms of flatness and dimensions, that I wanted to remove that variable from the equation. There is about 4-5 inches in opening height, depending on the cutout size in the door card, to get past the door pull and the top of the pocket.
