Hello - I am ordering my transmission and want to confirm I am choosing the correct item. Summit has these two listed which I think are identical but I want to make sure I don't inadvertently order the incorrect item:

I believe the only difference between the two is one is sporting a Ford part number as it is listed specifically for a Mustang. I will probably order the one with the TUET11010 part number, just wanted to be sure.

Made me curious, and I found this:


Called Tremec. Guy was less than helpful. I asked if the Ford Racing Tremec was same as the standard Magnum. He said, "Well I don't know what they do with it after I ship it to em."

Called Ford Racing. Much better service. They confirmed that the Ford Racing M-7003-M6295 is exact same as the Tremec tuet11011.

The difference I see on Summit's site is that the Ford Racing part is in stock and the Tremec part is a special order.

Yeah, I saw that as well. If anything, the differences would like in the mechanical speedo attachment that is Ford specific (which I am not using regardless) so I will probably just order the Ford part and call it good.

The TUET11010 was the transmission that shipped with my Gen 3 Coyote from FactoryFiveAT.

The T-56 in my Coupe is a Ford Performance M-7003-M6266 I purchased from a Ford Performance dealer. I confirmed at the time it was the same as a Tremec TUET11010.

Thanks Paul. You just confirmed what Summit provided above. I had never seen a pop up like the one I snipped but it came in handy as the Ford labeled item was on the shelf and the 11010 item was almost a month out.
