I am looking for a recommendation for a decent accelerator pedal for a 4L65E Gearstar transmission.
Thanks in advance

Accelerator? Not getting the connection. My truck build with the same transmission from Gearstar was with an LS. So had the Chevrolet Performance DBW accelerator. But there was no dependency either way with the transmission. Maybe you mean shifter? I put a Lokar ES4L60EFMP sport shifter in mine. Nice piece. I only drove the truck for one season and rarely used the sport shifter setting. But was still a cool feature.

Sorry for any confusion, I was not sure if there was any connection to the transmission. Thanks for the response and information.
I am a big fan of yours and use allot of your build thread as a guideline. I also am going with the LS3 and 4L65E setup.

While there isn't a relationship between the accelerator pedal and the transmission, I found that my transmission tunnel had to be modified to accommodate the shift lever and a tab on the side of the transmission. I'm running a LS6 engine with a Gearstar 4L65E and the accelerator pedal included in the kit. The shift lever shaft is about 2.5" long, much longer than I see in other build threads. Perhaps this was due to the donor trans that Gearstar used. I cut two small windows in the trans tunnel to allow me to tuck the tunnel closer to the transmission and optimize the leg room in the drivers side. Below are a couple pictures of the cutouts during mock up.

Thanks for the information and the way you addressed the shift level shaft and tab - nice to have that in my pocket when I get to that point. I am not much of a fiberglass man but I may be able to pull that off as it will be covered up with carpet.

If you look at the pictures, you'll see that I'm not a fiberglass man either! :D You are right that it'll be under carpet or even sound mat, so the appearance really doesn't matter too much. This was my first fiberglass experience. Fiberglass supplies are relatively cheap and it's a forgiving medium if you screw up. Best of luck.

After looking at your plumbing of the heater hoses, I was left wondering where you installed the heater control valve. Any insight would be appreciated

You could either use the Corvette pedal or the aftermarket one from Holley.
