Need Oil Dip Stick Tube - Explorer 302

Ok, feeling puzzled by this one.

I’ve bought 2 dip stick tubes and neither fit. Diameter too tight on the block for each. Is there a unique stick for this range of 302. Here’s a photo from the drivers side under cylinder 7. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Is there the remaind of the old tube in the hole? Looks that way in the center picture.

I, too, thought it looked like there was a sleeve in the hole.

I bought this Lokar unit from Summit. It was a little pricey but it worked 100%, looks GREAT and tied to the header bolt.
