Hi,

I have a Gen 3 Coupe build with a Gen 3 Coyote and a TKX 5 speed, with Vintage GPS gauges.
Which speed sensor plug do I connect to the RF rear harness, the electronic or the mechanical plug? Or, do I need it at all? Tie it up?
And what is that other plug for? ( A and B in photo)

With the Vintage (Speedhut) GPS gauges, you don't need either of the speed sensor connections on the TKX. Just power it up, point the antenna toward the sky, and you're good to go. The other connections (neutral and reverse) can be used depending on your build plan.

I found that there isn't a lot of info out there about options OTHER than the GPS system. Nothing against the GPS, I just didn't want to have to find ANOTHER place to put something - and also possibly lose signal with the GPS (I know, very remote chances of that)

I DID find that you can buy a connector for the speed output port on the trans, and wire it directly so that you have electrical connection directly to the speedometer. I got mine here:

I ALSO found a very cool option from that vendor for my T56 trans. It's an all in 1 solution that eliminated the bulky reverse lockout, and ALSO is bluetooth programmable for the speedo, and the reverse lockout speed. Also has the reverse light trigger. It's pricey, but I love mine....

Stick the GPS sensor here, and be done with it. It's a 30 second task to peel off the adhesive covering on it and then thread it into your speedo.

If you use the neutral switch as a starter interrupt, I would recommend adding a bypass switch hidden somewhere. I broke a clutch cable 50 miles from home and was unable to start the car in gear. I had to start it in neutral and get some people to push me fast enough to get it into first.
