Flat 4 Converter and the Purple Wire(s)

We are installing the Flat 4 converter. There are 2 purple wires coming from the harness, (fuse box side). Do they both connect to the red wire on the converter, or just one? If only one, which one?

You only need one. It doesn't matter which. When I did it the first time I wired both up to it, that works too. The harness is designed to send 12v to both tail lights individually so there are 2 wires. The LED converter only needs one.
