Cockpit Tonneau cover

Looking for recommendations for a cockpit tonneau cover for a Mk4 roadster. Something that I can have installed while driving covering the passenger side and affixes snugly and doesn’t flap. Interest is in keeping the sun off the interior, while also providing a bit of weather protection. Interested in opinions on lift the dot type fasteners vs snaps. Lastly, when is the recommended phase to install the fasteners, before or after paint/body? I suspect doing it very carefully after paint/body is best.

Don't know it they still do them but mine from 2014 was made by Whitby Motorcars. Uses dot fasteners & was installed after panting. Use it to keep the heat in during winter driving along with general normal usage.
