You know the numbers are good when Erik can't hide a smile :)

Looks like 3rd gear pulls, right?

Good job buddy!

It's good to see that kind of hp in a Mark V. It helps to see others are crazy too.

Wow! And I thought my original 302 basically stock was lots of fun. That's incredible but I'm sure you have to drive it with the knowledge of what it's cable of. NIce job.

Eric,
Great numbers. Why run in 3rd gear? Sure spools up fast.
How do you think the ProHub dyno compares to a DynoJet or Mustang?

I really like the Main Line Pro Hub - second time using them - last time was on the XTF. One of the cool features is that it can log torque distribution from side to side as well - so in my case the left wheel is at 50.5% vs the left.

It was done in 3rd ... keep the speeds down... the last time I did a 3rd to 4th comparison - 4th was a little higher number - but I was really after the "tune" side of things vs chasing a number (this time :) )

Eric,
Thanks. Never thought about the torque biasing. Never really thought there'd be a side to side difference.
High speeds understood. Used to run 4th to 150 on the Mustang dyno. Heavenly noises.
Think you'll make it to London with the Mk5?

That will depend on the painter - I think there is about a 20% chance that it makes it - given it isn't even in primer still

Eric, great numbers. You're right where I want to be and I will be. Can't wait to see it with the body on. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks - yeah - I was hoping to have ready for open house and London - but the painter is really putting a kink in those plans
