Y’all, I’m prepping the frame for body fitment. I got the bulb seal on and looking at the manual it mentions foam weatherstrip on top of the 3/4” frame top tubes on the sides of the engine compartment and trunk hoop-I think that’s the 1/2” W X 1/4” thick stuff in a 20’+ roll? But also in the secondary body fastener box I found this ~8-10’ roll of 1” W X 3/4” thick stuff-where does it go? Thanks y’all?

The best place to put that is in the nearest trash can. It's intended for the side of the footboxes ahead of the doors but doesn't expand enough to seal and just makes a nasty mess when your painter has to remove it ;) On final assembly I use 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" foam to seal that area.

Looks like the foam that goes between the body and the driver and passenger side foot boxes. The top of the foot box curving around to the outside of each foot box.

So that's why Miller didn't use it! But I knew that. Hi J. Miller, if your ears are burning. :)

Jeff, thanks, I’ll trash it…I certainly don’t want a mess for the painter (aka You) :)
