It certainly pays off to be patient in the long run.
I am almost done in my parts gather phase for my 33HR. I worked a large bit of OT a few weeks ago and got the extra funds a few weeks ago. I was in real need for a Bellhousinng for my TKX. ($300 Min from Summit racing) I went to the All ford swap meet in Columbus OH and found me a OEM D9ZC bell for $100
The Very first table walked up to had (2) 75207 clutch sets Used For $100 on it. One did not look too bad,.... But I just Can't see putting a used clutch in a Nice car.
Then I got online the next day and about to go ahead and Buy the New 75207 McLeod clutch that had been in my watchlist for 6 months. It had been $399 for 6 months and went to $413 just a few weeks ago. So i decided to search again and first thing popped up was a New one for $280
Now I only have 2 parts needed and slave cylinder and a Trans. TKX Was the plan. But Now I see a Made in the USA trans with the fitment, ratios, and specs of a TKO/TKX Of course the origins of the Richmond and Tremecs are are firmly rooted in the old Ford top loaders transmissions.
