I recently posted in my build thread that I dropped the body on yesterday, and most things look good. I thought I'd use this thread for ongoing questions instead of gumming up the build thread. So far, here's what I've got:

Front clip is centered on the chassis, measuring between the fender lip and upper shock mount. All good.
Rear quick jack bolts installed, no alignment problems.
Clearances between the door strikers and body are good and within recommended spec.
Dash/cowl clearance is ok; I'll scribe to the largest gap (1/4") so the gap is even along entire dash.
No bulb seal installed yet; just trying to get the basic measurements/alignment above.

The main questions I have right now are related to the front clip and the nose. I've got spacers sitting on top of the 3/4" tube -- I started with 1/2", then 3/4", but still can't get the quick jack holes to align vertically to the chassis holes (they're ok horizontally, so I shouldn't need to coerce those tubes). It's off by about 1/2". I can flex the nose up to create the alignment and secure it in place with the QJ bolts, but:

1) should I really need 3/4" spacers? It seems very tall.
2) are the quick jack bolts meant to support the body in this way?

Thanks.

I found this thread... looks like a normal issue.
