Moving from AZ to TN in three weeks. Most likely my Cobra will be at Ken's in Yuba City, CA during that move so I'm going to ship directly from Ken's. I thought I'd ask here for recommendations for a transportation company that uses enclosed trailers. I'd hate to have Ken's paint job in the open air across the country. I know y'all have the answers!

Thank you!

I really recommend Pilot Transport. Used to use them when I was transporting prototype vehicles working at Hyundai years ago. They always beat reliable on cost and gave the same level of white glove service. https://pilottransport.com/

I went with Nexus when transporting my Cobra to and from the painter (WI to GA and back). It's a large company but the actual drivers/trailers appear to be independent contractors - just guys with an enclosed trailer and an F350. The advantage with Nexus being so large is you can basically call them any time and somebody will answer - they also lean on the drivers where needed. I had an issue where an open trailer showed up when I needed a closed trailer and they worked with me to get that fixed without incurring any costs. The size of the company made me a bit more comfortable that I could always go after somebody if the worst should happen. Ended up not having any issues at all, both drivers were on time and the car arrived without a scratch on it.

Best of luck to you in your search.

I used Stewart Transport which is a Factor Five sponsor to bring my Type 65 from Florida to California.

Thanks all. I didn't think about Stewart. Didn't they drop off my MKIV?

Yep, they deliver for Factory Five. I thought about them, too, but didn't know if they would ship completed cars, since they have the rolling gantry in their trailers.

Have used Reliable transport a few times and would plan to again the next time I ship somewhere.

Second Reliable Carriers. I used them to ship to and from paint and had no problems.
