Hello!
It's so hard not to ask endless wiring questions, but I have been slowly working my way forward and making good progress, I think.
I'm building my Gen 3 coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote.
Here are a few of my sticking points.
1. On the MAF and Alternator harness, am I correct that I do not need the rest of the plugs?
C132-AAT
C129 - IAT
C1743 CACCT
C1217 CPC
Cut them off and terminate the wires?
2.On the Oil Pressure sender plug there are three wires, Black,White and Red. On the harness there are only two wires, Black and Grey. I have connected Black to black and grey to white. The instructions do not seem clear for the red wire. I am NOT using an Oil Temperature Gauge (I'm using FFR Vintage GPS gauges).
Do I just cut and terminate the red wire and also the Oil Temp wire in the harness? (This is what I have done, but now not sure)
Or do I connect those two together?
3. On the same harness there are two wires, a green FAN THERMO and a peach coloured ELECTRIC CHOKE.
Do I need either?
4. The Coyote Fitment manual says on page 98 that "it's best to let the engine control the radiator fan"
Then it simply says to connect the orange harness wire to the fan's blue wire and ground it and you are done.
That sounds so straightforward, but does that mean that I don't need the thermostat switch and the fan relay etc?
Starting the gauges and switches next.
Thanking you in advance!
