Radiator overfill?

Yesterday I ran the car (still go-cart) around the neighborhood a bit. I got the engine up to temp and when I got back and shut it down I noticed some radiator fluid leaking from the filler cap itself (maybe a couple tablespoons worth). Is this due to an overfill or maybe just the cap seal? Or is this a deeper issue? Thanks all.

Sounds like a cap seal. Overflow should be coming from the overflow tank

Maybe it is the wrong radiator cap. See explanation of different types:

Thanks for the info. I can’t remember if the cap I have was supplied by FF or by Boig. Overflow tank is 3/4 full. I’ll check what kind of cap I have.
