This was taken in my hometown of New Salem, ND at a defunct gas station. Taking the coupe up to my hometown was a "bucket list" item for me. Coupe # CSX 2601 was owned by Bob Bondurant until 1969, at which time he sold it to John Simonson, who lived in North Dakota. Simonson owned a string of gas stations bearing his name (that still exist today) and he drove his coupe all over the state, checking up on his stations. The photo was taken with a small Sony digital camera on a sunny day. Location
