Shocks

I am loving the build but learning every step of the way.. I am an aircraft mechanic but this is different:rolleyes:

How tight do folks do the collar on the shocks to compress the spring? And is there a tool that can grab the holes to help twist?

Yes, there are tools for that. Lots of choices. I bought a Joes Racing 33500 Short Coil-over Spanner Wrench some time ago. Amazon, etc. But it's not mandatory. They typically don't need to be more than several turns tightened against the spring and can be turned by hand. When installed and you're adjusting ride height, jack the car up and take the pressure off the spring. Again, relatively easy to turn at that point.
