Hi,
Unfortunately, it's time to part with my kit. There are too many other priorities, and I've finally acknowledged it's time to pass it on to someone who can complete it long before I'll be able to. Here are the details; I'll edit this post with clarifications and additional pictures if there are any questions. A recent unfinished 818C kit with all parts sold for over $12,000, so I'll start by asking $11,000. Located in San Diego County, 92024.
818S, Black powder-coated frame
All parts on hand to complete, except for a battery
Donor vehicle:
2006 WRX wagon
79k miles at salvage
Build Status
Completed:
Suspension, steering, brakes, engine, radiator and AWIC installed
Pedal box, hydraulic (brake and clutch)
All chassis panels installed with black 3M rubberized coating on both sides
Seats and 5-point harness mounting points installed
dash assembles with instrument cluster
All body panels polished and coated with 3M rubberized coating on back side. Note: Engine cover was damaged in storage and needs fiberglass repair. Voids from FFR molding defects not yet filled, but have supplied kit.
Major tasks to do:
Finish firewall attachment
Install AWIC pump, and complete coolant lines
Install E-brake cables, fuel filler
Install electronics: wiring harness, stereo, seat heaters
Fill all fluids and bleed/burp
Mount doors hinges and frames, all body panels, dash, windshield, headlights and taillights
