Am working on installing the body, as you can see from the attached picture the bottom hood well is not square to the radiator mounting crossmember. I have taken measurements and I anm equidistant from the shock towers to the edge wheel well lip on both front and rear wheel opeanings. I am 1/4” in front of the stricker plates on both door openings. The rear cowel lip is constant in gap to the rear cockpit wall. The front and rear hold bolts go through the holes in the body and are perfectly aligned. The hood hinge mountain plates on both sides are equidistant to the corresponding body lip.I find no measurements that are off and would cause this issue. I measured from the radiator attaching cross member to the fire wall and it measured the same on drivers and passenger side so it seems to be square, I am stumped any help would be appreciated!

That’s normal. The radiator support is at an angle. Unsure if that was originally there to allow the donor Mustang radiator to fit or the jig is off. Was that way to 13 years ago. Hid it with a nice part from Breeze.

Thanks Norm, I have been taking measurements all day, I’ll put the tape away. Haha

Have you seen this before?
Yes, as a matter off fact I have. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. :D :D :D
They're all like that and always have been.

I saw this thread and had to check. I had the same exact question a while back. I called FFR direct and like Norm B said, it's like that because of the donor parts that were popular to use years ago. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks Jeff. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve used you posts and build threads. Thanks so much!

Thank you Wizbangdoodle, yeah I lost a nights sleep over it. I thought this far along in the journey and now this problem. I was stumped.

I noticed the same thing during my build but I didn't see any way to remedy it so I just rolled with it :)
