I need a steering hub adapter for my type65 steering column. I have a NRG quick release wheel....

Is the NRG hub adapter I need part number SRK-RL179H? Says it is for a 1994-2004 Ford mustang.

If you are referring to the low profile QR from NRG, you need the SRK-400

Does someone make a removable steering wheel hub-adaptor that uses the FFR factory wheel?
Would be nice to not have to buy another wheel.

You will need to redrill to use the factory wheel. I believe the bolt pattern is unique to FFR.

Ends up like this. Black Allen head screws are the new ones drilled for the one side of the NRG QR assembly. Same idea for the other half that needs to be drilled and tapped in order to attach to the FF steering wheel hub. All relatively easy to do. Especially with a drill press.

Good images of the mods needed. The NRG adaptor, once all assembled on the car... how much offset towards the driver does it create?

Without any other changes, it adds 15/16-inches. I would have been OK with that. But I was able to modify my turn signal assembly and push the steering wheel in so that my final total was 7/16". Not noticeable and enjoying how much easier it is to climb in and out. This is the complete post from my Coupe build thread that goes into more detail. https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-5-000-Mile-Report&p=399325&viewfull=1#post399325
