I am about to order a Mark V complete roadster kit. I am ubiquitous, just retired,. guy who is looking for a project. I have wanted to build a FFR since the 90's but I am 6'5. I visited FFR a few weeks ago, had a great long conversation with Dave and the crew, sat in a Mark V (I fit!!!!). I am currently building a new shop in my airplane hangar with a lift. I can't wait to get started. I will have many many questions for you all.

I guess one can only be the new guy for so long…..I am just over a month into my MKV build and more than happy to transition the title over to someone else. Welcome aboard.

Thanks Tango. I am framing out a 1200 ft2 shop inside my 60' x 80' hangar. I will insulate it and add a mini split HVAC, a two post lift, and all new work benches. I already have drill press, grinders, tig and mig welder, plasma cutter, lathe, milling machine, break, shear, spray painting equipment, air tools, etc. Once I have all this done I will be ready to begin....and will be exhausted lol. I am planning to go with the Godzilla engine...I think.
