Please ignore this - I found out the answer which is 6061-T6.
I'd like to find out the grade of aluminium the body panels are made from. I want to re-make one of the footbox panels for my RHD Type 65 coupe and I order some 1mm (20 gauge) aluminium sheet (same gauge as the factory panels) but it turned out to be way too soft and too easy to bend. I found out from the supplier it was grade 1050 H14. I guess the factory uses a harder grade as the panels are much stiffer - if anyone can tell me what that grade is I'd be very grateful.
