What Air Cleaner for 427SBF and ProFlo4

So, I'm at the point where I need to order an air cleaner for my build. Boss 427 and ProFlo4 EFI. I've read that a K&N Xtreme 14" drop base is a good unit to clear the hood and to provide enough airflow for my engine. I'm concerned, however, that a drop-base will interfere with the ProFlo4 throttle linkage and Forte mechanical throttle bits on the driver's side. If anyone with experience here can help steer me to a good solution, I'd appreciate it.

Well that was easy. Thanks, Gordon! The K&N 66-3040 is close to that spec. Would that work, or look for something closer to your measurements?

For me personally, I would steer clear of an oil filter, I'd use a regular paper element. I have used oil filters in the past on other vehicles and it makes the intake a mess over time.

Is that the same recommendation for those builds that have your solid engine mounts (drops engine about an inch or so)?
